Martin Marshall - Improvement science to reality examples of success

Martin Marshall is Professor of Healthcare Improvement at UCL and Lead for Improvement Science London, an initiative to promote the science of improvement across three London Academic Health Science Centres. Previously he was Director of R&D at the Health Foundation, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Director General in the Department of Health, and a clinical academic at the University of Manchester. He has been a GP for 24 years and is a fellow of the RCGP, RCP and FPHM. In 2005 he was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for Services to Health Care.
