Jo Berry is founder of the Charity, Building Bridges for Peace. Patrick Magee PhD was sentenced to life imprisonment for the Brighton Bomb but released in 1999. For 10 years he has worked for peace with Jo Berry, whose father he killed at Brighton.

Reconciliation and The Forgiveness Project

Ms Berry describes the process of coping after her father was murdered in the Brighton bomb and why she decided to meet Patrick Magee. She tries to use the negative experience that she had to aid the peace process. Patrick Magee describes the process of meeting Ms Berry and how amazed he has been by her capacity to listen to what he had to say. Understanding each other has been a journey for both of them. Once you get to know the person it would be impossible to do them harm. Hopefully their experiences will further the peace process.
