Dr Kenneth Kamler is a surgeon and expedition doctor. His treatment of the survivors of the 1996 storm on Everest was portrayed in the book, Into Thin Air, and in the film, Everest.

Dr Kamler describes how he survived a disastrous storm on Everest but how unfortunately others died during the worst day on Everest. He talks about the fatal mistakes that they made, particularly ignoring the key rule that if you are not on the top of Everest by a particular time you must turn back. He also describes the array of injuries that he had to treat and how difficult it was at altitude.
