About Mike Golding

Mike Golding is an International yachtsman, three time World Champion and the first person to sail single-handed and non-stop around the world in both directions, Mike has crossed the Equator 21 times, rounded Cape Horn 5 times and was awarded an OBE in 2007 for services to sport. He rescued fellow competitor Alex Thomson from the Southern Ocean during the Velux 5 Oceans Race 2006/7.
